Development and implementation of a company-wide Contract and Claim Management System (CCM).
As part of a company-wide redesign of project processes, a comprehensive CCM was developed and implemented for construction, plant engineering, and IT projects. The scope of work included defining the strategic framework, establishing processes and responsibilities (including a RACI matrix), preparing a CCM manual, and issuing a binding corporate guideline. In addition, standard contract templates based on BGB and VOB/B for unit price and lump-sum contracts were revised, a central claim management database was introduced, and relevant key performance indicators were evaluated. Complementary training sessions were conducted for project managers, procurement staff, and technical engineers.
Further Development and Internationalization of the Contract and Claim Management System (CCM) for Large-Scale Life-Science Projects
Within complex large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical and crop science industries, an existing Contract and Claim Management System (CCM) was purposefully further developed. The focus was on adapting it to international project structures and integrating specific requirements from the Life-Science sector. Services included revising the process architecture, updating RACI matrices and forms, preparing a practical CCM manual as part of the Project Procurement Handbook, and coordinating a revised CCM guideline company-wide. In addition, the tendering and awarding of specialized services in contract and claim management were carried out, along with training sessions for project managers in multinational teams.
